PLANNING; PRACTICE MAKEUP

Today in class, I practiced creating bruising with makeup, in order to make our film look believable. I used a range of dark eyeshadows from purple to blue, with some yellows, greens and reds. I then mixed them together on my skin and experimented with how it would look.

I created the collage using PicMonkey which is a website you can use to make collages of photos

DISTRIBUTION CASE STUDY; TORTOISE IN LOVE

I researched how the BFI Print and Advertising fund helped a small, crowd-source film to gain distribution. Its story is told HERE.
As I am making a low budget, independent film myself, it was interesting to see how the film producer went about getting the film released.
They created a website for the film to help get the word out and also did screenings in local churches around the UK.
