G321 Foundation Production:
Here are the 7 questions you must answer in your evaluation:
- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
- How does your media product represent particular social groups?
- What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
- Who would be the audience for your media product?
- How did you attract/address your audience?
- What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
- Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
- Present this on video (picture in picture), through a voice over analysing your film opening as it runs or with text on screen (YouTube).
- Use PINTEREST to create your collection of social types See PINTEREST here
- Present this in PREZI 'Many Prezis were problematic, candidates writing too little to demonstrate their understanding, ignoring the platform's multimedia capability; a handful of Prezis were exciting and insightful, with embedded video / images and other formats' (Examiner's Report 2013).
- Viewer profile research plus a collage made in PhotoShop.
- Present in SlideShare. Marketing your product requires the same techniques that a professional distribution company would create: a poster for P & A, a film website, aFacebook page, a Twitter feed, Tumblr. All these platforms are linked, creating asynergistic whole.
